Le hab\u00edan sentenciado a muerte, pero ve\u00eda c\u00f3mo pasaban los meses y afortunadamente esto no suced\u00eda<\/strong>. Sinti\u00f3 la necesidad de hacer algo con ese tiempo, fuera el que fuera, que le quedaba. Entonces una psic\u00f3loga del Hospital Marqu\u00e9s de Valdecilla donde le trataban le habl\u00f3 de la Asociaci\u00f3n Ciudadana C\u00e1ntabra Antisida (ACCAS) y, poco a poco, esta santanderina empez\u00f3 a colaborar con esta organizaci\u00f3n: limpiaba cristales, hac\u00eda acompa\u00f1amiento sociosanitario, atend\u00eda a personas con exclusi\u00f3n social y ofrec\u00eda informaci\u00f3n y empat\u00eda a quien acud\u00eda al centro.
